Culture Day: Friday January 27, 2017globe [Converted]

On Friday, January 27, staff and students will be celebrating Lunar New Year and Tamil Heritage Month. We would like to invite our Beckett Farm families to join us in our celebration. Come and help us usher in the Year of the Rooster, as well as enjoying traditional Tamil cultural dances and music that our students will be showcasing! Our celebration will commence at 9:30 am.zodiac-rooster

It will also be Cultural Day, so we invite students, families, and staff to come to school dressed in their traditional cultural clothing on that day.
We look forward to seeing everyone!

 

Increased Flu Activity in York Regionicon-shot-300x300

Over the past few weeks there has been an increase in influenza activity across York Region. To date, there are 164 laboratory confirmed influenza cases in York Region. Influenza A (H3N2) is the primary circulating strain and it is well matched to this season’s influenza vaccine.
